Gift for :iconcmak:! This is her OC Aegis, the Columba Saint who was captured and brainwashed by Hades. Hades granted him to control shadows, so that's why some of the shadows behind him aren't really falling as they should. The 'wings' are suppose to be shadows he's controlling although I'm not happy with how they came out.

This picture seemed to take forever to do. I decided that I wanted to try drawing in a background for it, so I'm semi-proud of that. I ended up redoing the line art twice since my computer died after I was done with it. His hair gave me trouble when I tried to color it. I just couldn't get it looking right at first.

This is my first time attempting something with a background like this, so constructive criticism is welcome.

Wow. Very good job with the wall and especially the lighting against the wall. I like that you thought about adding the light to the figure and the column, too. Very nice job.

The columns themselves appear a bit flat, though. I think you might want to try and shade them a bit more to achieve more 3-dimensionality.

The face also lacks structure - at the moment it appears very flat. You'd need to add shading to show the eye sockets, cheeks and chin properly.

The ground is not correct in the perspective - it appear as if it is almost vertical. I think you might have tried to distort it a little more with the perspective tool to make it appear like a horizontal plane.

Wow! Once again, i'm impressed of how fast you can improve your skills!

This one is the best of your works so far :nod:

The BG looks very good for be the first time you try (Well the columns needs a bit more of work but is ok to be the first time ;)), i wish my first try was like that lol :XD:

The character looks pretty cool too ^^
I think you have improved on character's expressions ^^

Very good job dear! Keep up doing your best ;)
