Appearance:
She’s fairly short with bangs and wavy brown hair and dark blue eyes. She’s fit, although it’s hard to tell at first glance.  She’s thin and has a round face.
Dream: To travel the world taking pictures.
Likes: Photography, hiking, mysterious places, the way the ground smells after it rains, history
Dislikes: Very loud music, fences, being lectured at, overly gossipy people
Personality:  Kasumi is actually fairly quiet, although she isn’t shy.  She just prefers the company of a few close friends to a lot of people. She’s very much into doing her own thing and marching to the beat of her own drum in her own quiet way.  She doesn’t make a fuss about this face though.  She has a dislike of passive-aggressive people and people who gossip behind others backs. She’s very loyal to her friends though, and is usually willing to help out if she’s asked.
History:
Kasumi has lived in the city all her life, although she often visited her grandmother and grandfather in their house in the country.  There was an old barn on her grandparent’s property that she always found fascinating.  Since her grandparents didn’t have a use for it, it was slowly falling apart.  Although she knew she wasn’t supposed to be there because it was dangerou, she still would sneak in to play there.  One day her Grandmother let her borrow a camera to keep her distracted.  She ended up taking pictures of everything, including the old barn.  That would trigger a lifetime interest in her.  She likes urban exploring, and sneaking into places she probably technically shouldn’t be has become something she’s scarily good at it.

Karasuno was nearby, so she chose to go there for highschool. Once there, she joined the photography club.  However her classmate and friend Umi is in the newspaper club and keeps ‘volunteering’ Kasumi when they need help. In her first year she helped out Ennoshita when he accidentally lost his place in the textbook right when the teacher asked him to read outloud.  They found they got along, and shared some of the same sense of humor.  He was supportive of her photography, and she tried to encourage him with this screenplays.  When she realized she had feelings for him, she wasn’t sure what to do at first.  She’d never felt like this before.  When she told Umi about it, Umi got all excited and decided that they should find a way to get Ennoshita to notice her.  After a couple of tries that ended in failure or worse, Kasumi ended up confessing to him.   

Relationships:

-Family

Mother:  Kasumi has a fairly good relationship with her mother, although her mother wishes that she wouldn’t be so reckless sometimes.She does end up being proud of some of the awards that her daughter's photography has won.

Father:  Kasumi gets along with her father, and occasionally he’ll give her something for her camera or a book about photography.

Grandmother:  Kasumi and her grandmother are close.  Her grandmother moved in with them after Kasumi’s grandfather died.  She likes for Kasumi to sit and talk with her about the places she’s explored.

Haru - Haru thinks her older sister is really weird, to be honest.  She isn’t sure why she likes to go looking at old places.  Her parents don’t like it either, so she isn’t sure why Kasumi keeps pushing it.

-Friends

Ennoshita Chikara:  Ennoshita and Kasumi have a very comfortable relationship.  They like hanging out with each other whenever they can, and their dates usually end with them just wandering around.  They feel relaxed around each other.  Ennoshita wasn’t sure about having a girlfriend when he was so busy with practice, but he ends up being very happy with it.  Kasumi actually really admires the fact that Ennoshita went back to volleyball after quitting it once.  She knew how hard it was for him.

Yamamoto Umi: One of Kasumi’s best friends.  They met in class and got along.  Umi drags Kasumi out of her comfort zone when she needs it and Kasumi grounds her.

Tanaka Ryunosuke:  They met one day when she went to the gym to take pictures because Umi said it was for the school paper.  ...And because she wanted to see Ennoshita.  He’s completely stunned that Ennoshita has a girlfriend like her.  Kasumi thinks he’s loud, and a bit dense, but not that bad.  Wonders why he tries to be so intimidating sometimes.

Nishinoya Yuu:  Like Tanaka, she first met him when she went to the gym to take pictures.  Thinks he’s loud too, but admits that it’s fun watching Ennoshita interact with him.

Tanaka Saeko: Met her at a game one day.  Thinks she’s cool and admires his self confidence. Saeko also knows some interesting places for Kasumi to photograph and isn’t above helping her sneak into them.  They’ve become sort of partners in crime.

Yachi Hitoka: Like with Tanaka and Noya, Kasumi met her when she went to the gym.  Worries about her a little because she seems so nervous all the time.  Since she’s an underclassman, Kasumi tries to encourage her.

Shimizu Kiyoko: Kasumi admirers her a lot.  Ran into her at the gym with the others, and really like how self-possessed she.

Random Trivia:

-Good student, although she hates being reminded to study

-Her camera was a present from her grandfather before he died.
