Two awkward blushing idiots

AKA my Diamond no Ace OC Midori and Tanba.  This is the bigger version of the cover I used for my fic. I've been wanting to draw Tanba in the school uniform anyway, since he looks good in it.  I figure that even if Tanba isn't as shy as he was during his first year, he woudl still be a little awkward around girls.  And it probably doesn't help matters that some of the other third years saw Midori's confession.  They're happy for Tanba of course, but as good friends they also feel the need to tease the hell out of him over it.  

Anyway, I'm pretty happy with this although I think the sketch looked a bit cuter.  I used a pattern for Midori's skirt because freehanding the plaid pattern is a pain.  Also I noticed that the boy's school uniform jacket had a school crest on the pocket, but since I had a hard time finding a picture of it clear enough to use as a reference, I left it off.  Since the mangaka only seems to draw it half the time anyway, I'm not that worried about it.
