Cho Reference

Finally, finally done with this! This is one of my Amaterasu girls. I'm calling them Handmaidens for now, although that may change later on, and each of them is based on a different mythological Japanese creature. This is just the basic information for Cho, the personality section in particular is very, very basic. If you have any questions about her feel free to ask. I am work on a fanfic for her that will explain how she came to be a Handmaiden.

This is a picture that was both fun to work on and very frustrating. I have been working on it for nearly a month on and off. I thought I would do something different and try a ref like this. Tell me if it's too hard to read or anything. In the beginning I was trying a new method of shading since I think I use the smudge tool a little to much, but towards the end I started to get a little lazy with the shading. The shading on the Tengu armor was a huge experiment that I'm not sure worked, feel free to give me your opinion on it. I'm not happy with that hand on the causal pose. I tried to change it as I was doing the line art and it did not come out well. Anyway, feel free to tell me how it worked out.

Also yes, I am aware the Tengu Armor picture turned out a tiny bit shorter than the other two. >>
