Please..

"Please watch yourself out there, I don't want to have to put you together again." Those were the only words Drea would allow herself to say before Shura went off to battle. If she said more she wasn't sure she would be able to hold her own emotions in and at the moment neither of them could afford to be distracted. Shura had his own battles to fight and, regardless of the outcomes of the day, Drea knew there would be work for the healers. She needed to keep her mind on her duty. The most she could do was pray to both their goddesses that he came back all right.


Yay, it's done! I haven't done a Shura/Drea piece in a while so I thought I would try to draw an image that's been stuck in my head for a long time. I've tried to draw it a couple times before but I couldn't never get it to come out right.

I tried a ton of knew things on this. I never drew a good side-view picture before and I paid extra attention to the expressions this time around. I tried playing around with light sources too, just to get some practice with that. Did something new with the way I drew both of their hairs. I tried to make Shura's have individual strands and with Drea I spent a couple of hours drawing in detailed curls. It's hard to tell in the picture but I think it looks a lot better than what I was doing before. I'm honestly not sure how well everything came out but it was fun. I'm not sure how well I did with the sun either since it was my first time painting one.

But yeah, I had fun with this over all.

A note about Shura's Cloth though...it seems to have ended up being a mixture between the anime and manga Cloth. That's why he has that sort of mask thing instead of that stupid looking helmet.


Shura belongs to Saint Seiya and everyone that holds a claim to that.
Drea belongs to me.
